Interest in electric cars has seemingly dwindled, but Mitsubishi just might have re-ignited the flame by revealing its i MiEV hatchback at the 2009 New York Auto Show. Nissan planning new electric vehicles, says CEO Carlos Ghosn

At the Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan has revealed the Leaf Electric Vehicle — the first of its zero emission vehicles that it plans to release in the years to come.
